The Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW) and The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)  are the Wales partners for FIRST®LEGO® League (FLL).

The FIRST LEGO League Jr. is an exciting STEM programme for 6-9 year olds.  Each year a theme relevant to the world around them is chosen as a focus for the children’s work.  The teams research the topic, displaying their ideas on a ‘Show Me Poster’ and build a moving model to help communicate their ideas. Teams will meet at a regional final to celebrate their work and achievements as well as take part in a fun day. Through participating in the event students develop teamwork, design, programming and communication skills.

You can find out more about the FIRST LEGO League Jr on the IET website or contact us for more information.
